PASSIVE VOICE ON TENSES

Passive voice is a form of sentence where the subject of the sentence receives action, not taking action. Unlike active voice that focuses on doer of action, this form is more focused on the party or object that receives the results of the action (receiver of action).

1.      Simple Present Tense

Pasif : S + to be (am, are, is) + V3 + by + O

Example: English is spoken by students
Aktif : S + do/does + V1
Example : Students speak English

2.      Present Continuous Tense

Pasif : S + to be (am, are, is) + being + V3 + by + O

Example =  English is being spoken by students
Aktif : S + to be (am, are, is) + V1-ing + O
Example =  Students is speaking English

3.      Present Perfect Tense
Pasif : S + have/has + been + V3 + by + O

Example = English has been spoken by students

Aktif : S + have/has + V3 + O

Example = Students have spoken English

4.      Present Perfect Continuous Tense
Pasif : S + have/has + been + being + V3 + by + O

Example = English has been being spoken by students

Aktif : S + have/has + been + V1-ing + O
Example = Students have been speaking English

5.      Simple Past Tense
Pasif : S + to be (was, were) + V3 + by + O

Example = English was spoken by students

Aktif : S + V2 + O
Example = Students spoke English

6.      Past Continuous Tense

Pasif : S + to be (was, were) + being + V3 + by + O

Example = English was being spoken by students

Aktif : S + to be (was, were) + V1-ing + O
Example = English was being spoken by students

7.      Past Perfect Tense
Pasif : S + had + been + V3 + by + O

Example = English had been spoken by students

Aktif : S + had not + V3 + O
Example = Students had spoken English

8.      Past Perfect Continuous Tense
Pasif : S + had + been + being + V3 + by + O

Example = English had been being spoken by students

Aktif : S + had + been + V1-ing + O
Example = Students had been speaking English

9.      Simple Future Tense
Pasif : S + will be + V3 + by + O

Example = English will be spoken by students

Aktif : S + will not + V1 + O
Example = Students will speak English

10.  Future Continuous Tense
Pasif : S + will + be + being + V3 + by + O

Example = English will be being spoken by students

Aktif : S + will + be + V1-ing + O
Example = Students will be speaking English

11.  Future Perfect Tense
Pasif : S + will + have + been + V3 + by + O
Example = English will have been spoken by students

Aktif : S + will + have + V3 + O
Example = Students will have spoken English

12.  Future Perfect Continuous Tense
Pasif : S + will + have + been + being + V3 + by + O

Example = English will have been being spoken by students
Aktif : S + will + have + been + V1-ing + O
Example = Students will have been speaking English

13.  Simple Future Past Tense
Pasif : S + would + be + V3 + by + O
Example = English would be spoken by students

Aktif : S + would +  V1 + O
Example = Students would speak English

14.  Future Past Continuous Tense
Pasif : S + would + be + being + V3 + by + O
Example = English would be being spoken by students

Aktif : S + would + be + V1-ing + O
Example = Students would be speaking English

15.  Future Past Perfect Tense
Pasif : S + would + have + been + V3 + by + O

Example = English would have been spoken by students

Aktif : S + would + have + V3 + O
Example = Students would have spoken English

16.  Future Past Perfect Continuous Tense
Pasif : S + would + have + been +being + V3 + by + O
Example = English would have been being spoken by student

Aktif : S + would + have + been + V1-ing + O
Example = Students would have been speaking English
